this story is talking that there was a boy named Santiago, he lived in Andalusia in south of Spain, he was poor, he worked a Shepperd.
he love to read a lot of books, he believed that sheep understands him so that's why he was talking to them and tell them stories.
But the most important thing is that he loved to travel around the world he loved to discover things, opposite to his parents they wanted him to be a priest in church, but he prefer to discover the world instead to be interesting in God. So that's why he worked as a Shepperd, but he also was in love with the daughter of the king, and that every day he went to the king to sell for him the wheel of the sheep's he tell him next time until he came a day and he told him to come next year.
One day he had a dream that he found a treasure and that it was in Egypt he went to a gypsy but she told him that his dream is hard to say if it's gonna come true or not but the made him promise her that if he found the treasure she will have the 1/10 of them and he accepted.
he was afraid of leaving his sheep herein Andalusia, but one day he met a old man.. He knew every thing about him so he told him what are you reading, Santiago didn't answer him and he gave him the book, so the old man asked him about the treasure so Santiago answered him by " the treasure is in Egypt at the pyramids but were exactly i don't know" so the old man told him that if he also found the treasure he will take the 1/10 of his flock. So Santiago thinked a lot of time before leaving about what will happen to the sheeps and his dreams about travelling. But he took the decision that he will travel to Egypt...!!!
